The Chief Executive Officer, CEO of the Africa Top Entrepreneurs Awards, has announced that, out of respect for Ghanaian culture, the 6th edition of the Africa Top Entrepreneurs Awards, ATEA, has been rescheduled to Sunday, October 29, 2023, at the Mayflower in Accra.
In an interview on GTV’s breakfast show, she explained that the program was originally planned for Saturday, October 28, 2023, but it was essential to honor tradition and mourn the Ga Manye.
“This is our great queen mother of the land and she is no more so with the brand ATEA, we have that respect to the Ga land” she said.
She further noted that the ATEA initiative was established in 2018 to acknowledge the efforts of entrepreneurs and inspire them to continue their outstanding work.
“There is everything beautiful when you are being appreciated, when you are being celebrated and when you are being told that what you are doing, the world is watching,” she added.
She concluded by emphasizing the exceptional nomination process, where the jury nominates entrepreneurs rather than relying on self-nominations from individuals.
