The Convention People’s Party, CPP, has called on President Akufo-Addo to as a matter of urgency dissolve the National Council of Curriculum and Assessment, NaCCA, Governing Board and Secretariat and reconstitute a new body.
The call follows a publication of a book for Basic 6 pupils authored by Mercy Gyaa-Adiyiah, which described Dr. Kwame Nkrumah as a dictator thereby defaming his party, the CPP.
The CPP said it finds it difficult to believe how no one could supervise NaCCA to exercise a proper supervisory role in checking such publications.
It said the said Publication carries offensive and incorrect information about Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.
