A Professor of Clinical Epidemiology at the University of Health and Allied Sciences, Fred Binka, has appealed to government to provide free masks to Ghanaians as part of efforts to curb the spread of Covid-19.
He said the goal for every citizen to mask up can only be achieved if government makes available free mask to those who cannot buy it themselves.
Speaking to Radio Ghana, Professor Binka said some people are poor and cannot afford to buy a mask, so it will be prudent if government steps in and provide for them.
