Jack Sally, a Development Facilitation Partner in the North says the flood situation is getting worse uptown.

Women farmers in Bawku and Zanlow now say their farms on highlands have also been flooded despite the armyworm infection.

Animals are also being carried away while buildings are falling off.

Executive Director of Jack Sally, Jeremiah Seidu said it is unfortunate State officials such as Ministers, MPs and NADMO standard-bearers are saying the situation is under control as if politics is beyond humanity.

In an interview with GBC’s George Ankrah, he said what is needed now are food, clothing and shelter for the affected people.

Mr. Seidu said the people are now distressed and require Government’s urgent intervention.
