Floods in the northern part of Ghana are expected to worsen as the Bui Power Authority prepares to spill water tomorrow (October 23, 2019).
The Authority in a statement in response to some videos circulating on social media said based on its monitoring of inflows upstream and the fact that the inflows may exceed what the reservoir can accommodate, controlled spillage of the dam is likely to be carried out on Wednesday (October 23).
