Government through the Ministry of Finance has cleared its indebtedness to road contractors who were owed up to five million Ghana cedis.
Contractors whose monies also fall above the five million Ghana have received at least 40 percent of their money.
The Minister of Roads and Highways, Kwasi Amoako Atta announced this at a road sector retreat in Accra.
He added that by the 10th of February this year (2020), the rest of the money will be released to the contractors.
Mr. Amoako Atta also indicated that Single Man Contractors have also received their monies in full.
