The Chairman of the National Media Commission (NMC), Yaw Boadu Ayeboafo, has asked media practitioners to verify information, before broadcasting or disseminating them.
Speaking to GBC’s Radio Ghana on the public outcry against some media practitioners spreading false information and causing fear and panic, Mr. Ayeboafo said it is a worrying situation.
Mr. Ayeboafo urged Journalists and the public to be circumspect with their language.
