Permanent revenue collectors at the Madina La Nkwantanang Municipal Assembly are crying over nonpayment of salaries since 2018.
Meanwhile, reports indicate that the Assembly has now contracted revenue collection to private companies some of whom are defaulting in paying in monies collected to the Bank.
The Coordinator of the Assembly, Samuel Ashalley Jani, says he the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development has abrogated employment of staff for revenue collection.
Mr. Ashalley Jani said contract companies who have been sighted for malfeasance have been handed over to the police for further investigations.
