The Public Relations Officer of the Ghana Water Company Limited, Stanley Martey, says landlords and water vendors who sell water to consumers must be reported to the police for arrest and prosecution.

He said the act is criminal and consumers must be bold to report such activities.

In an interview with GBC’s Radio Ghana, Mr. Martey said following the roll out of government’s free water policy, water vendors and landlords were directed to re-register with the company to enjoy the freebies, maintaining they have no excuse to sell water.
