Residents in Kpone and some parts of Tema have been experiencing acute water shortage for the past two weeks. Residents say the situation needs urgent attention.

A resident, Michael Amoah said the situation has compelled water vendors in the Community to sell a 25 litter gallon of water for GH¢1.00 instead of 70 pesewas.

Responding to the water crises, the Tema Branch Manager of the Ghana Water Company, Mac Doe Hanyabui said the Company is doing its best to solve the problem which is due to faulty pine lines linked to the Kpong water treatment plan.
