A group calling itself Concerned Students of the University of Ghana has threatened to go on a demonstration over the university’s decision to roll out a modular system for the 2020/2021 academic year.
The Group is opposed to the decision and wants management of the university to rescind it.
The group is also criticizing the student leadership for doing little to get the university authorities to reverse the move.
Some persons believed to be students of the University have since Wednesday taken to social media to express their disagreement with the modular system. They are of the view the allocated 6 weeks for teaching and learning activities for a semester is not enough.
Meanwhile, the Students Representative Council has announced that it will be holding another meeting with school authorities over the modular system.
