The much awaited LGBTQ draft bill is expected to be laid before Parliament on Monday, August, 2.
The Promotion of Proper Human Sexual Rights and Ghanaian Family Values Bill 2021, has been the talking point in Ghana since it was raised in the House barely two weeks ago.
It seeks to criminalise LGBTQI+ practice and advocacy, ensure protection of children, persons who are victims or accused of LGBTQ+ and related activities in the country.
Meanwhile, some Ghanaians fear passage of the bill into law could have dire consequences on Ghana’s foreign relations and economy.
However, some International Relations Analysts think otherwise. Prof. Vladimir Antwi Danso, shares such sentiments in the attached radio report.
