“My advice to you as young men and women is that you should take your studies seriously because that is the reason why you are here. Your parents have invested resources in you by way of school fees and money for upkeep.”

These were the kind words of the Vice Chancellor of the Bolgatanga Technical University Professor Samuel Alnaa on the 21st matriculation of fresh students into the university. Of thousand two hundred and eight (1,208) students admitted, six hundred and ninety are male while five hundred and eighteen are female studying various Diplomas, HND and Bachelor’s degree programmes. Professor Alnaa commended the students for the bold step taken to add value to their selves by enrolling at the University.

Here at the university, you determine how you use your time. I will be happy to meet all of you in 2027 when you are graduating.” Prof. Alnaa mentioned.
