New Executive Members of the Local Union of GBC Ura Radio has been elected into office.
The executives include; Sadaat Daboo as Union Chairman, Olando Alou Konipuah Vice Chairman, Second Vice Chairperson Madam Veronica Barik.
The rest are Norbert Aturk Secretary, Adams Alhassan first trustee, Linda Atanga second Trusteee.
Youth Chairman Abdul-Wahabu Nosh and Youth secretary Nelson Abagna. The Women’s Committee went to Sophia Ackumey with Florence Ayamga taking the secretaryship position.
The Chairmanship position was keenly contested by Madam Jean Fongo and Sadaat Daboo for a draw at the first round.
It was the second round that Sadaat Daboo beat Madam Jean fongo by one vote to emerge the Chairman of the Local Union of TUC.
The elections was witnessed and swooned in by the Industrial Relations Officer of the Regional Chairman, Doris Asoala.
The new executives have a two year mandate to run the affairs of the Union.
