The Ghana Journalists Association, (GJA) is accepting entries for the GJA Awards.
The awards scheme aims to recognize individuals and companies that play a significant role in the growth and development of the Ghanaian media industry while recognizing the key functions within the industry that promote growth and sustainability.
Works must have been published between January 1, 2018 and December 31, 2018.
The over 50 awards cut across categories such as Broadcast Journalism, Business and Financial Reporting, Environmental Journalism, Feature and Magazine Writing, Global and International Journalism, Rural Reporting, Sports reporting, Online or Multi-Media Journalism and Photojournalism.
Journalists who are members of the Ghana Journalists Association and students can apply.
The winners will be announced at the Ghana Journalists Association Dinner and Awards Night on November 23, 2019 in Accra.
The deadline has been extended to August 9, 2019.
