Member of the Parliamentary Committee on the Right To Information (RTI) Bill and Member of Parliament (MP) for Ningo Prampram, Sam Nartey George is asking the media to exercise patience with regard to  passing of the RTI Bill.

He said passing a bill into law takes a lot of work and time and all the amendments filed under the RTI debate need to be thoroughly debated for and against.

Speaking on GBC’S news and current affairs programme ‘Behind the News’ on Uniiq FM, Mr. George said the media should not be only fixed on the passage of the Bill, but must concern themselves with the rudiments of the Bill.
