Vice President Bawumia calls on Regent of Katamanso, Nii-Laryea Afotey Agbo

The Regent of Katamanso, Nii-Laryea Afotey Agbo has appealed to all political parties to embark on their campaigns devoid of insults because such actions threatens the peace and unity of the country.

Nii-Laryea Afotey Agbo who doubles as the Member of Parliament for Kpone Katamanso Constituency made the appeal when the Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia paid a courtesy call on him when he toured the Constituency.

Nii-Laryea Afotey Agbo said he is ready to deepen the cordial relations that exist between him and his opponents and the government at large regardless of the outcome of the 2020 general election.

Vice President Bawumia in a brief remark said it is in the right direction to pay homage to leaders in a community before engaging the people.

He also added that politics is not about enmity but sharing of diverse opinions.
