The 48th edition of the Ghana Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) has been scheduled for January 12, 2024, and will be held at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).
This event is organized annually to honor distinguished Ghanaian sportsmen and women, as well as athletes, for their massive contributions towards the development and promotion of sports in Ghana.
The General Secretary of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG), Charles Osei Assibey, mentioned that the event will be exciting, and it will provide patrons with an unforgettable experience as they celebrate sports excellence.
He again stated that the SWAG secretariat will be announcing the names of the winners of the non-competitive and honorary awards very soon.
He encouraged corporate bodies to come and support the event, as it helps honor excellence in sports. However, over 40 people in about 27 categories will be honored on that night for their achievements in Ghanaian sports.
