The 13th African Games opening ceremony offered Africa and the world some remarkable shows as some rich Ghanaian culture was displayed in unique fashion, leaving fans and followers across Africa and the world to embrace and experience the African dream.

Dancehall sensation Shatta Wale opened the show with some vibrant and energetic performances, capturing the attention of fans at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium, with the majority jamming along with him as he poured out his famous Ayoo tune. Wale was well-dressed in rich Ghanaian Kente cloth as he wowed the fans.

King Promise, on the other hand, held the energy high as he performed his banger terminator, which lightened up the euphoria of the night, capturing the voices of fans present who sang along and danced with joy and excitement.

Other notable artistes like South African songstress Kamo Mphela, Pat Thomas, and Ebo Taylor also gave the fans a spectacular glimpse of what they can also offer when it comes to performing on the stage.

On the flip side, a beautiful concept of Ghanaian culture was displayed, as some regions, like the Greater Accra Region, Asante Region, and Northern Region, wonderfully represented their heritage in some fashion.
