President of the Ghana Boxing Authority, Peter Zweenes, says his office has summoned boxer Patrick Allotey to appear before the Disciplinary and Arbitration Committee of the Authority to explain reasons for his misconduct during the clash between Hearts and Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium.
WBO Africa Super Welterweight champion, Patrick Allotey was captured in a video assaulting a fan of Kotoko after a heated argument between the two.
It is unclear what caused the confusion, but the incident has since sparked outrage on social media.
In an interview with GBC’s Radio Ghana, Mr. Zweenes condemned the act and called for appropriate measures to get to the bottom of the matter.
