Tanzania will soon begin the construction of a new airport and ring roads in its new capital Dodoma.
This is possible following the approval of a 455 million U.S. dollar loan from the African Development Bank.
Approval of the loan was announced by the bank’s President, Akinwumi Adesina at its headquarters in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire, during talks with Tanzania’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Palamagamba Kabudi.
He has agreed in principle to finance the construction of the standard gauge railway from Isaka to the Rwandan capital Kigali.
