President Akufo-Addo disagrees with IMANI’s 48.78% score

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has disagreed with IMANI Africa’s score of 48.78% with regards to the fulfillment of its 2016 manifesto promises.

President Akufo-Addo said this at a media encounter today (December 13) at the Jubilee House in Accra. The meeting gave journalists the opportunity to ask the President key questions he has not sufficiently addressed at various forums.

In responding to one of the questions asked by Serwaa Amihere, a Ghanaian broadcast journalist and news presenter, the President said he disagrees with IMANI’s score of 48.78%.

According to him, his government has fulfilled 72% of its 2016 manifesto promises and deserves a higher performance rating.

IMANI Africa gave the Nana Akufo-Addo led government an overall mark of 48.78% with regards to the fulfillment of its 2016 manifesto promises

The Think tank also scored the government 54.35% for how it has managed the economy, stating that out of a total of 162 promises, only 41 have been implemented.
