149,100 voters to elect 39 Assembly members in Ketu South

A total of one hundred and fifty nine ((159) candidates are seeking to be elected as Assembly Members in the Ketu South Municipal Assembly slated for tomorrow, Tuesday, December 17, 2019.

This number includes one hundred and fifty four male candidates (154), five (5) female candidates and one (1) person with disability..

A total number of one hundred of forty nine thousand one hundred (149,100) registered voters are expected to elect only thirty nine (39) persons for 39 Electoral Areas at the close of the polls.

At the Unit Committee level, a total number of three hundred and fifty eight (358) candidates, made up of three hundred and thirty four (334) male  and twenty four (24) female will stand for the unit committees.

In an interview with gbcghanaonline’s  reporter Edzorna Francis Mensah on the ground, the Municipal Director of the Electoral Commission, Aminu Abubakari said, all is set for the election as indicated by their national Headquarters, Accra.
