GFA sacks all national team coaches

The Ghana Football Association  (GFA) has dissolved the technical  teams of all national teams with immediate effect.

The announcement via a press release by the GFA on Thursday, January 2, 2020, said the decision affects both male and female national teams.

High-profile casualties of the surprise decision include Black Stars coach Kwasi Appiah and his assistant Charles Kwabla (CK) Akunnor, Black Queens coach Mercy Tagoe-Quarcoo and Black Meteors coach Ibrahim Tanko.

“The GFA extends its appreciation to all coaches and members of the respective national teams for their contributions to our teams and Ghana football,” the release said.

“We wish them all the best in their endeavours,” it added.
