On the occasion of Founders Day, the Media Coalition Against Open Defecation has called on Ghanaians to reflect on the contributions of t Ghana’s forebears which led to independence.
A statement signed by the Convener, Emmanuel Addai, reminds the public of the threat posed by the practice of open defecation to the health of all.
The Coalition believes that Dr Kwame Nkrumah will be disappointed in how the country has managed sanitation and especially open defecation. The Coalition is therefore calling on all to join hands in the fight against the practice.
The Media Coalition Against Open Defecation wishes all Ghanaians a happy holiday on the occasion of the 109th birthday of Ghana’s first President Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.
Activities including lectures and symposiums have been earmarked by the government and the Nkrumaist family to commemorate the day.
