The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has cancelled the 2020 Open Day event.
The announcement, according to the Armed Forces in a statement issued and signed by Director Public Relations, Colonel E Aggrey-Quashie on Friday, March 13, has become necessary due to operational challenges.
It said, “any inconvenience caused by this cancellation is deeply regretted.”
The Day is essentially organised to display military equipment to the children and the general public and also demystify the misconceptions by civilians about the Military.
