President Akufo-Addo has cautioned persons circulating fake videos of alleged brutalities by security personnel at the forefront in the implementation of the partial lockdown describing the act as worrying.

He said some of the videos are largely foreign, old and not related to the lockdown.

In a televised address to the Nation on COVID-19 last night, the President said in few instances where members of the security agencies have employed the use of excessive force against the citizenry, in enforcing the restrictions on movement, the IGP and the Chief of Defence Staff have taken steps to investigate such incidents, and those found culpable will be sanctioned.
