A Human Resource Banking Survey conducted on Ghana’s banking industry has revealed that over 70 percent of workers may leave the banking sector.
The aggrieved banking staff said they are not happy with their salaries. The survey was conducted between February and May 2018.
Out of the 24,300 workers in the banking sector, 2,000 participated in the survey.
The respondents claimed their banks have deviated from their core vision for which they were established. About 79% of the workers explained that the performance target set by their banks were out of reach and unachievable.
The report showed that showed that majority of the workers were leaving on loans from their employers.
