KNUST develops rapid diagnostic test kits to detect COVID-19

The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, KNUST has once again risen to the occasion in the national fight against the Coronavirus as it has come out with Rapid Diagnostic Test Kits for detection of the virus.

Our Correspondent in Kumasi, Nicholas Osei-Wusu reports that the Kits, which are now under consideration by the Food and Drugs Authority for approval, have the capability to produce results within between 15 and 20 minutes using blood samples of a person.
