The Sefwi Wiawso District Police are conducting investigation into the loss of 43, 157 Ghana cedis at Sefwi Dwinase.
The Police said the client was on his way to deposit the money at the Republic Bank when the incident occured.
The Sefwi Wiawso District Police Commander, DSP Christopher Darkey told Radio Ghana that two rastafarians on a motorbike are suspected to have snatched a bag containing the money .
He said the police patrol team which chased them saw the motorbike abandoned at Ewiase.
DSP Darkey noted that the police have relayed the information to other personnel for assitance.
