Senior Lecturer, Political Science Department, University of Ghana Legon, Dr. Kwame Asah -Asante has predicted a low turn-out at this year’s General election, saying there is likely reluctance by the electorate to step out and vote on election day, for fear of being infected with the Corona-virus.

In an interview with Radio Ghana, Dr. Asah-Asante said the ramification is that it could take a toll on the fortunes of the political parties.

Besides, research has shown that face to face meetings with the voters increases the chances of being voted for, which means in the absence of rallies, the politicians will have to review their modus operandi in the Communication value chain.
