Managers of hospitals in the country are faced with challenges in the deployment of health workers in the wake of COVID-19.

This is largely due to the isolation of exposed and infected staff in the hospitals. For this reason, the remaining staff have had to work extra hard to cover up their absent colleagues.

The development has also necessitated the urgent need for government to redefine who a frontline health worker is, as staff not on this list refuse to carry out any COVID-19 related tasks.

The President of Medical Superintendents Ghana, Dr. Joseph Tambil made this known at a press briefing after a Council meeting of the Group in Takoradi in the Western Region.
