The Liquefied Petroleum Gas Tanker Drivers Association has started a sit-down strike over what they describe as harassment from police personnel during the execution of their duties.

Spokesperson for the Association, Yaw Yeboah said the police extort money from them while on the road.

He also complained of salary issues for their members.

Mr. Yeboah said their grievances include the embargo placed by the National Petroleum Authority on the opening of new LPG station and cylinder circulation model.
