Lifeless grass cutter bites boy to death

Wonders they say shall never end. A 14 year old boy has been bitten to death by a lifeless grass cutter at Sefwi Nkronua in the Western region.

The incident happened when the boy alongside colleagues went hunting for the animals. The mysterious grass cutter which was killed four hours earlier is reported to have bitten the boy when he was trying to take it from his counterpart. The issue of mysterious deaths is not new in the Sehwi area of the Western Region.

The latest is a bizarre claim that a 14 years old boy (name withheld) of Sefwi Nkronua south has been bitten to death by a lifeless grass cutter. According to Eyewitnesses, the mysterious incident happened when the boy went for hunting with two others. Information gathered by the GBC indicates that, the mysterious grass cutter was killed earlier during the hunting expedition. But the hunters there after run out of luck as they failed to bag any more animals. They therefore decided to call it a day. In the process of taking the lifeless animal from a Colleague it bit him and was pronounced dead when he was carried home.

The Chiefs and people of the village on hearing the news, called for rituals to be performed before separate burials for both the boy and the animal. The Chief of Nkronua is also calling for spiritual investigations. Meanwhile, the family of the deceased are still in shock and were reluctant to talk to the GBC.
