The Ministry of Health, Ghana Health Service and Development Partners are from the 10th to 13th of September immunizing children under five years against polio.
The immunization teams will move from house to house to immunize all children from birth to five years.
The teams have been provided with face masks and alcohol based hand sanitizer to ensure that the exercise is carried out under strict COVID-19 protocols.
The doses given during this campaign are additional ones which every child under five years should receive to prevent polio.
