Ghana records 4 more COVID-19 deaths

Ghana has recorded sixty-two new cases of the corona virus disease.

According to the Ghana Health Service (GHS) the country has 956 active cases with confirmed cases of the disease recorded, totaling 53,553 as of December 14.

The Service says two people are in critical condition while 13 are in severe state.

It adds that 52,266 people have recovered from the disease but unfortunately four people have died increasing the death toll from 327 to 331.

The service said it has conducted 634,174 tests since the outbreak of the disease in March with a positive rate of 8.4 percent.

On the regional case count, Greater Accra leads with active cases of 655 after recording 29,474 cases out of which 28,689 have recovered and have been discharged.
