Governance Expert, Dr. John Osai Kwapong says President Akufo-Addo has to merge certain ministries and cut down on the size of government to ensure the smooth running of the country.
Dr. Osai Kwapong said this in an interview on GBC’s Uniiq Breakfast Drive.
Dr. John Osai Kwapong appealed to President Akufo-Addo to quickly layout his key priorities in his second term in office and channel his energy to making sure they are addressed.
“Now that you have 137 NPP MPs with one independent who has indicated that he going to caucus with them plus the fact that there’s a constitutional requirement to take a certain percentage of cabinet from parliament, I think it makes it a little more challenging to keep the size.”
