The Paper is confident in Mr. Bagbin’s ability to execute the herculean task ahead of him without failing. The Graphic argues that his 28 years’ experience in Parliamentary duties places him in a good stead to potentially become one of the best speakers of the House. The Paper is hopeful that Mr. Bagbin, with his solid reputation as a public official will subject himself to ethical conduct, consistent with the integrity of the office. The Graphic says with a stickler for procedures and formality, it believes the Speaker will conduct the affairs of the House objectively and fairly, while ruling on points of order so that, the legislators will stay within the rules to ensure the orderly flow of business.
