Ghana set to receive AstraZeneca vaccines in two weeks

Two weeks from now, Ghana is set to receive 350,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccines for protection against COVID-19.

Twenty million people are expected to be vaccinated, in two rounds which will cost two-point-six dollars for each person. This was revealed at a public engagement on the COVID-19 vaccination rollout in Accra.

The Manager for the Expanded Programme on Immunization at the Ghana Health Service, Dr. Amponsa- Achiano said about 12,500 vaccinators have been engaged in the programme.
