A Ghanaian dancehall artiste, ”Shatta Wale”, has apologized to fellow artistes Samini and Stonebwoy for his inability to grant them the opportunity to perform at the launch of the Reign album last Saturday, at the Fantasy Dome, Accra International Trade Fair Center.

”Shatta Wale” prior to the concert had surprised Samini and Stonebwoy with thrilling performances at the Saminifest concert in 2016, as well as ‘Ashaiman to the World’ concert back in 2017.

According to Samini, he together with Stonebwoy wanted to show support to ”Shatta Wale” during his third album launch, with a stage performance, but they received a feedback from ”Shatta Wale” refusing their kind gesture.

A tweet from Samini reads, “Congrats @shattawalegh on your album launch. Just like you once wanted to surprise me on saminifest stage and I let you, I’d wanted to do the same but I waited in the car together with [Stonebwoy] @stonebwoyb for over an hour only to be told you refused the gesture. #supportourown huh?? .”

But ”Shatta Wale” has responded to Samini’s tweet, saying, ”Oh!, how, this is news to me… sorry if this was the case…am very sorry.. it would have been nice!! Thanx for the support.”

Meanwhile, over 20,000 people attending the Last Saturday’s concert and considered the biggest concert to rock Ghana in recent times.
