The Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin, has disclosed that President Akufo-Addo will be in the Chamber of Parliament on Tuesday, 9th March, to deliver the State of the Nation Address while the Budget for the 2021 Financial Year will be presented on Friday 12th March.
The Speaker said this when he welcomed Members of Parliament (MPs) to the House from a-three-week break after 17 MPs and over 150 staff tested positive for the coronavirus.
He disclosed that 12 positive cases were recorded after a re-testing of 550 MPs and Auxiliary staff who tested negative.
This he said translates to a positivity rate of just 2% which compares favourably to the national average.
