Head of the Domestic Violence Secretariat under the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection, Malonin Asibi says the Secretariat is embarking on renewed community sensitization on Gender based issues and Domestic Violence.
This will help curtail the upsurge in domestic violence cases in the country.
In an interview with GBC NEWS on current development in the country where there seems to be an increase in spousal abuses, Madam Asibi said paralegal groups set up across some markets is to ensure persons who suffer abuses readily receive help.
Madam Asibi advised victims of domestic violence to be bold and report abuses meted out to them.
