The Abossey Okai Spare Parts Dealers Association has expressed dissatisfaction with the 2021 budget.
It says although government needs revenue to execute its programmes and projects, government must be considerate as Ghanaians are yet to recover from the shocks of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Vice President of GUTA and Co-Chairman of the Abossey Okai Spare Parts Dealers Association, Clement Boateng, expressed worry about the one percent increase in the COVID-19 levy in the National Health Insurance and VAT flat rate.
He urged the government to explore other avenues for revenue generation whiles expanding the tax net.
