GBC News Crew in Koforidua involved in accident

The News Team of GBC Sunrise FM in Koforidua on their way to Kwahu to observe the Easter celebrations in the wake of Covid-19 restrictions has been involved in an accident at Osino in the Fanteakwa South District of the Eastern Region.

The team includes Michael Amartey, Nii Okpey, George Awuah, Michael Kofi Kenetey and George Sarpong, the driver.

Narrating the incident, they said a Toyota Hiace with registration number GX 5051-20 which was conveying passengers from Koforidua to Kumasi hit the back of their Teams Toyota Hilux with registration number GM 3886-14.

This is the third time the GBC News Crew has been involved in an accident en route to provide coverage for the Kwahu Easter celebrations.

No casualty was recorded but some of the victims complained of minor body pains, as a result of the accident.
