Despite moves by the La Nkwantanang Municipal Assembly to decongest and clear the streets of Madina of filth and indiscriminate disposal of waste, little seems to be happening as the Madina market and the stretch leading from the police station to the mosque is seriously engulfed in filth.
Packs of refuse which appears as though were deliberately left by some persons is competing with those generated by the traders.
