Barely Four Months after the December 7, 2020, general election, developmental projects across the country seem to have come to a halt, as there are no substantive Chief Executives at the various MMDAs.

In the wake of this, some Assembly Members in the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Constituency, have appealed to President Akufo-Addo to immediately appoint substantive MMDCEs to lead the development drive.

Briefing the Media at Sefwi Asawinso, Assembly Member for Bassengale, Collins Berchie, spoke about challenges confronting them in the absence of the MMDCEs.

For his part, the Assembly Member for Sefwi Atronsu, Ezekiel Armah, said authorities of the Assembly have refused to respond to calls for an emergency meeting to elect a Presiding Member.
