Ghana Mission in Washington donates $59,000 to Ghana private sector fund

The Ghana Private Sector Fund has received $59,000 from the Ghana Mission in Washington.

The donation forms part of the mission’s contribution towards reducing the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on businesses in Ghana.

Presenting the dummy cheque in Accra, the Acting Chief Director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Madam Martha Pobee said the donation represents the goodwill of Ghanaians living abroad to the country.

She encouraged other missions to emulate the gesture.

The Chairman of the Technical Committee of the Ghana Private Sector Fund, Dr. Justice Yankson assured the team the money donated would be use prudently.
