Maxwell Konadu named new head coach of Black Starlets

Former Black Stars assistant coach Maxwell Konadu has been named Ghana’s Under-17 male team coach as he drops down the ladder.

The ex-Asante Kotoko coach replaces failed Ben Fokuo – who has been elevated to the Black Princesses.

He will be assisted by Dreams FC’s Winfred Dormon as well as Eleven Wonders head coach Ignatius Osei- Fosu

The new Black Starlets coach is a Premier League winner with Asante Kotoko.

However, he drops down the ladder to take up the new role after handling the country’s Olympic team, Black Stars B and an assistant at Black Stars- A.

Konadu has had stints with WAFA, Wa All Stars -now Legon Cities, Upper West Heroes, Unia Leiria and Beira-Mar n Portugal.

He won the Gold at the All Africa Games in Maputo in 2011 as an assistant to Kwesi Appiah.
