Appointments Committee of Parliament vets Kojo Oppong Nkrumah

Vetting of six nominees for Ministerial and Deputy Ministerial positions is underway at Parliament.  Appearing before the Appointments Committee is Kojo Oppong Nkrumah for the Ministry of Information.

Cynthia Morrison for the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection and Evans Opoku-Bobie for the Brong Ahafo Region will appear later today.

A statement issued by the acting Director of Public Affairs of Parliament, Kate Addo, said the Public hearings are in accordance with the Standing Orders of the House.

The second batch of nominees will appear before the Committee on October 29. They are Paulina Abayage for the Upper East Region, Martin Oti-Gyarko, Deputy Minister for Brong Ahafo and Samuel Nuertey Ayertey Deputy Minister for Eastern Region.
