There is a heavy police presence in and around Jubilee and Parliament Houses as demonstrators approach these areas with their petitions.
The police, heavily armed with Formed Police Unit Vehicles, are very visible on the main road at the Presidency, Christ The King Traffic Lights and Afrikiko Traffic Lights.
Others are with Bartons and Face Shield up at the Ceremonial entrance of the Presidency whereas others are deployed at the Highway near Jubilee House stretch.
Similar deployment have also been done to Parliament House at both the Ceremonial gate at the Conference Centre side and back gate opposite Kofi Annan ICT centre.
Deployment to these state institutions follows ongoing demonstration organized by the larger opposition political party, the NDC against what they called “Injustice” emanating from killings of Ghanaians by security forces in recent times.
